Celina Wu Trujillo My research interests include development during the transition to adulthood, specifically in college students. I have investigated college women’s future plans for work and family balance. I have also examined the influence of the young adult men’s jobs on their romantic relationships. My doctoral dissertation will focus on development of "citizenship" among college students, or social responsibility and connectedness that one feels when s/he desires to work for positive change on the behalf of others. I hope to determine how citizenship, as a leadership development skill, is fostered by students of varying social classes.
